 In class today we worked on how to continue a narrative story. First started with our outline introducing our characters, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. After that we started to construct our paragraphs and had help with an example off the board.

 In class today we talked about how to construct a an argumentative essay. We went thorough through the text and found evidence to add to our essay. We wrote the essay as a class meanwhile constructing one for our self using the same passages. This lesson was just a run through and writing the essay today was just a prove to yourself that you can write one.

 In class today we went over on how to write an argumentative essay. We read through both passages and individually picked a side to argue. After that we went through the steps of each side of the argument to figure out how to write the essay correctly.

 In class today we read more of the book The Color Purple. We read until the bell for lunch. Once we got back from linch we read just a tad bit more and constructed our found poem for the letters we read so far and that took us to the end of class.     

 In class today we read more of the book The Color Purple and began to answer questions about the letter just read. We came up with some answers as a class and is going to finish tomorrow.

 In class today we presented our group projects with the letters from The Color Purple. We had different mini projects within the group and I believe we did pretty good. To end the class we worked on missing work and that was all.

 In class today we went over the eight common comma rules. We analyzed them and came up with some examples of how and where to use commas. To end the class period we wrote a letter to god just as the book, The Color Purple. In our letter it had to include the eight common comma rules. That is all we had to do in class today.

 In class today we begun watching the film The Color Purple by Alice Walker. We reread the first 5 letters and analyzed them to answer questions. We started to develop themes and why’s for this book. As we went through the questions we did them together as a group but individually as well. That is all we did in class today.
