Class Topic

 What we did in class today was go through the steps of an argumentative essay. We also talked about some aspects that people strive for perfection in their personal lives or their professional lives. Then to end the class we talked about the structure of a argumentative essay and we constructed one of our selfs about the player Kobe Bryant.

  This is the bellringer from class today. In class today we also talked about the term steal. Not steal in a literal sense, you know as taking something not yours. But as what we use to identify a character. The S in steal stands for speech, T stands for thoughts, E stands for effects on others, A stands for actions, and last but not least L stands for looks (physical). Class Topic

 In class today we read more about the book fences. What the book was talking about was that Troy had won a case against the commissioner’s office and had been given a promotion. We read more of the book throughout the beginning of the class until lunch. When we came back from lunch we took a quiz about characterization. Once we finished, to end the class we went over the quiz together.

Bell Ringer Aug 29,2022

 I think that the probability of life outside of earth is very high. I say around like 99.9999% chance that there is another life form out there. My reaction to seeing the earth from mars was just like wow. We look like just another star, just a little dot. When hearing the black hole it surprised me honestly I was told that space had no sound and a black hole would appear and you wouldn’t know unless you seen it. Now that hearing the sound it make it makes the black hole much more scary. All of this information just shows that the technology that we have now could be nothing compared to these other life forms out there and we could be really outdated.
